I've been in Melbourne for the past 2 weeks already, and I'm 99% confirmed going back to Singapore in April for a week, so everybody please remove activites from the 9th to the 17th. Make some Ashley time thanks.

Now that my room is spick and span, free from clutter and bursting with chi energy. my mum has insisted i clean the shoe cupboard and study room as well. she is exploiting my newfound homely nature!

I really should get started.

ALSO! Melbourne in about a week. Having a love hate relationship with that, but I guess i'm better off looking forward to it. My chinese new year resolution is to update more, so there will be a cny entry soon.

This morning I woke up with a fantastic idea- spring cleaning.

So I've spent somewhat all of my day sorting my stuff into 'throw away' and 'give away' piles. Now that everything is sorted out and there's some real estate in my cupboard and shelves, all my new stuff has a place to go!

Time for change. Out with the old, in with the new.

last year i said

'Next year I truly believe my hair will reach a length in which everyone agrees is long. Will also try to hit the gym more regularly (I swear I say this every year), study a little harder and learn a few more life skills, ie pass my driving on the first, if not second attempt, and learn to cook a few more dishes.'

In 2008, I accomplished

1) LONG HAIR
2) for 2 months i went to the gym regularly!
3) we might have to move study a little harder to resolutions for 2009
4) PASSED DRIVING
5) cooked a million new dishes

2008 was a shit year.
no elaboration needed, so this year is going to be better.

It will be better.

I went to watch f1 on Friday with Nick, and my knowledge of cars and racing has increased 100 times thanks to him bombarding me with f1 fun facts. Now I'm honestly quite excited to watch the finals later!

Actually, I can't wait for it to be over so Singapore can go back to normal. Haha.

I'm sitting in bed playing text twirl. My clothes are all over the place, and a huge textbook waiting to be read is beside me. Soon I will fall asleep and be violently woken up tomorrow at 8.30 for yet another long, tedious week in school. Somehow this is all too repetitive.

It's only been 6 weeks here in Melbourne, and I'm bored.

So mummy has been watching greys recently and she likes the colourful scrub hats. Hence she asked me to make one for her. Her special hat is red with white hearts. And she's using it today. I'm thinking of making another because they're kinda cute.

One week of work left! I seriously cannot wait for it to be over. I've been overwhelmed by the response from my friends! Sitting with me at work, meeting up for a measly 2hrs for super late lunches, and of course sending me i/c numbers. Very touching.

So lately I've been playing a lot of psp, reading library books and speaking wayy too much chinese. Oh my brother's O level results are out as well and I'm psychoing him to do NYP's dental hygiene and therapy, or SP's optometry.

Also went running + swimming ONCE last week, only to be grossly outweighed by having late lunches and suppers thanks to my stupid working hours. Early next week I intend to

1) Call my dentist
2) Call Mandarin hotel
3) Call Citibank and UOB
4) Buy school books
5) PAY FEES

Currently leading very boring, mundane life giving (mostly chinese speaking) aunties cheapskate presents.

So yesterday I went to JB, in an SBS bus from woodlands mrt,
80cents only! Haha,
and Wilcent brought us around in his trusty car.

Traffic jam towards Singapore, and that's Nick,
eating popcorn. It was like RM 5.50 at the cinema.
So we bought some and brought it along to the go-kart place.

Yes I was bored hence the photoshopped sunnies.

Now I want to go to for more holidays!!
